Pick-Up and Transfer to the Restaurant

Depending on your selected dining time, a scenic driver from Ventaria African Tour and Safaris will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or designated location approximately 30 minutes before your reservation time. The scenic drive to Carnivore Restaurant takes about 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions, and passes through Nairobi’s urban neighborhoods toward the Lang’ata area.

Arrival and Welcome at Carnivore Restaurant

Upon arrival, guests are warmly welcomed into the open-air restaurant setting. Exclusive experience. The first impression is the large charcoal roasting pit located near the entrance, where a wide variety of meats are slow-roasted on traditional Maasai swords (skewers) over open flames. This visually striking feature sets the tone for the unique dining experience ahead.

Starter Course and Introduction to the Dining Style

A small flag placed on the table is used to indicate when you wish the service to stop.

Skilled waiters circulate throughout the restaurant carrying skewers loaded with different types of meat, carving generous portions directly onto sizzling cast-iron plates in front of you. The selection includes a variety of meats, with several options of wild game, all roasted using traditional methods to enhance flavor and tenderness.

Return Transfer to Your Hotel
