7 Days Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha & Amboseli Safari

Your safari begins with a 6:30 am pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport. Meet your professional driver/guide and depart in a private 4×4 safari vehicle with pop-up roof, ideal for game viewing and photography.

Drive through the Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at the viewpoint to admire and photograph the sweeping valley scenery. Continue through Narok Town, where you can take a short break, purchase refreshments, or explore local Maasai crafts.

Arrive at the Masai Mara in time for lunch around 1:00 pm and check into your lodge or tented camp. After a short rest, set out at 3:30 pm for your first game drive, exploring the rolling savannahs and riverine areas. Spot lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and hyenas, while learning from your guide about the Mara’s ecosystem. Return to the lodge by 6:30 pm for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at 6:30 am, embark on a full-day game drive from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Traverse different areas of the reserve, including open plains, forested riverbanks, and woodland habitats to maximize wildlife viewing.

Take a mid-morning coffee/tea break at 10:00 am while observing wildlife in their natural habitat. Enjoy a picnic lunch at 12:30 pm in a scenic spot within the reserve. In the afternoon, continue your game drive, looking for big cats stalking prey, herds of elephants bathing in waterholes, and birds in abundance. Return to the lodge by 6:30 pm for dinner and overnight stay.

Following breakfast at 7:00 am, depart the Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park, approximately 5–6 hours’ drive. Travel through scenic countryside and stop for photo opportunities or refreshments as needed.

Arrive at Lake Nakuru around 1:00 pm for lunch and check-in at your lodge or campsite. After a brief rest, embark on an afternoon game drive from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Explore the park’s shoreline, woodlands, and escarpments, observing thousands of flamingos feeding on the lake, black and white rhinos grazing, giraffes browsing, and buffalo herds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at 7:00 am, depart Lake Nakuru for Lake Naivasha, a scenic freshwater lake approximately 2–3 hours’ drive. Arrive by 10:00 am, check-in at your lodge, and enjoy lunch at 12:00 pm.

Spend the afternoon from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm on a boat ride or guided nature walk around the lake. Spot hippos in the water, giraffes and zebras along the shoreline, and a rich variety of bird species, including fish eagles and kingfishers. Return to the lodge at 5:30 pm for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at 6:30 am, depart Lake Naivasha for Amboseli National Park, approximately 6–7 hours’ drive. Enjoy scenic landscapes along the way and stop for refreshments or photos.

Arrive at Amboseli around 1:00 pm for lunch and lodge check-in. In the afternoon, from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, embark on your first Amboseli game drive. Explore the marshes, open plains, and woodland areas while spotting elephant herds, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and occasionally lions, all with the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
