Drive duration: Approx. 5–6 hours | Afternoon game drive: 3–4 hours

Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Nairobi. You will travel in a comfortable, well-maintained 4×4 safari vehicle toward the Masai Mara National Reserve, driving through scenic Kenyan countryside, including fertile highlands and small local towns.

Upon arrival in the Masai Mara around noon, you will enjoy a lunch break at the lodge or camp before setting out on an afternoon game drive. This first safari introduction offers the chance to see zebras, giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, and a variety of antelope species. You may also spot lions resting in the shade or hyenas roaming the plains. The afternoon game drive allows you to start immersing yourself in the Mara’s rich wildlife diversity.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a comfortable safari lodge or tented camp, offering an authentic African wilderness experience.

Day 2: Full-Day Masai Mara Safari

Morning game drive: 4–5 hours | Lunch at the camp | Afternoon game drive: 3–4 hours

Start the day early at sunrise, when the Mara’s predators are most active. Enjoy a morning game drive, seeking lions, cheetahs, and leopards stalking prey, as well as large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and buffalo grazing across the savannah. Your guide will provide detailed wildlife insights and help you spot elusive species.

Return to the camp for a midday lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive, exploring different parts of the reserve, including riverine forests and open plains. The game drives are designed to maximize wildlife sightings while giving you time to capture photographs of Africa’s spectacular scenery.

Dinner and overnight will be at the camp or lodge.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Isebania Border – Serengeti National Park

Drive duration: Approx. 7–8 hours (including border crossing) | Evening game drive: 2 hours

After an early breakfast, you depart the Masai Mara and drive south toward the Isebania border, completing customs and immigration formalities to enter Tanzania. Along the way, you will enjoy changing landscapes, from the Mara’s rolling plains to the savannahs and woodlands of northern Tanzania.

Upon crossing into Tanzania, you will continue to Serengeti National Park, arriving by late afternoon. After checking into your camp or lodge, enjoy a short evening game drive, providing a first glimpse of the Serengeti’s abundant wildlife, including elephants, lions, and grazing herbivores.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a tented camp or lodge inside or near the Serengeti.

Day 4: Full-Day Serengeti Safari

Morning game drive: 4–5 hours | Lunch | Afternoon game drive: 3–4 hours

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive in Serengeti National Park, one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Africa. The morning is ideal for observing predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs in action, as well as herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and buffalo. Your guide will help you locate elusive species and explain the complex interactions of the Serengeti ecosystem.

Return to the lodge or camp for lunch, followed by a short rest. The afternoon game drive explores different parts of the park, including open plains, kopjes (rocky outcrops), and riverine forests, giving you more opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. Sunset drives in the Serengeti are particularly memorable, as the golden light illuminates the plains and wildlife.

Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti lodge or camp.

Begin your day with an early morning game drive to catch the Serengeti at its most active, then return for breakfast. Afterward, you will drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending volcanic highlands that offer spectacular panoramic views.

Lunch will be served en route or at your lodge near the crater rim. In the afternoon, you can explore the surrounding Ngorongoro highlands, observing wildlife on the crater rim and learning about the area’s geology and Maasai culture. Dinner and overnight will be arranged at a lodge or camp near the crater.
